Dish to Dish || Yallabama Band

We are the Yallabama Band, a rockabilly and rock 'n' roll band from Israel. Our music is inspired by the golden era of the 1950s and '60s and is a unique fusion of rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, and country, capturing the spirit of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash.

Our lineup includes vocals and rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, and drums. Our program features timeless hits of the rock 'n' roll era as well as original compositions with an authentic retro sound.

We look forward to bringing a true celebration of the energy, dance, and atmosphere of the American '50s to your venue.

Dish to Dish is a Balkan fusion quartet from Be'er Sheva, formed by new immigrants united by a love of live music, improvisation, and Balkan spirit. The group was formed in 2024 as a creative collective of musicians determined to bring the energy and multilayered nature of Balkan tradition to the Israeli stage—honestly, emotionally, and with a sense of humor.

Dish to Dish performs Balkan and Gypsy songs, folk dance tunes, as well as original arrangements and interpretations. Their music is a fusion of folk, funk, jazz, and street drive, where dance and meditation, laughter and sadness, delight and tenderness coexist in a single program.

The band's name is symbolic:

Dish to Dish is like moving from dish to dish at a festive table. Different tastes, different moods, but all part of one vibrant musical feast.

Ensemble Lineup

• 🎻 Natalia Zherenkova – violin, vocals. The voice and face of the band. She possesses an expressive timbre and stage presence that combines folk intonation, jazz freedom, and emotional sincerity.
• 🎸 Timur Ibatulin – guitar. He creates the band's rhythmic and harmonic framework, introducing elements of funk and Latin into the sound.
• 🥁 Grigory Perelman – drums, percussion. The rhythmic foundation of Dish to Dish, transforming the mathematics of rhythm into living breath and dance.
The Dish to Dish program includes songs and instrumental compositions representing various aspects of the Balkan musical tradition – from cheerful street couplets and street dances to lyrical ballads filled with feeling and depth.

The program includes folk songs from the Balkan countries—Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia, Romania, and Bulgaria—as well as well-known hits by contemporary composers, including Goran Bregovic, Šaban Bajramović, Esma Redžepova, and other composers who have become icons of the Balkan music scene.

Dish to Dish carefully preserves the spirit of these songs, but imbues them with a contemporary sound, rhythm, and a vibrant improvisational spirit. Each performance by the ensemble alternates between cheerful and upbeat songs, energetic dance melodies, and profound lyrical themes, in which music becomes a way to experience emotions: joy, longing, love, loss, and hope.
