Andres Mustonen and his quartet sharing the stage with Intuitive Project in Israel.

The renowned Estonian conductor and violinist Andres Mustonen is a musician with a rare creative biography: founder of the legendary ensemble Hortus Musicus, artistic director of the international festival MustonenFest, and an artist who freely works at the intersection of classical music, contemporary music, and jazz. His concerts are distinguished by live energy, a bold approach, and close attention to the sound of the “here and now.”

In this project, Mustonen and his quartet meet on the same stage with Intuitive Project — an Israeli ensemble created by singer Julie Vardi and pianist Jarek Obraztsov, who relocated to Israel from St. Petersburg. The project is built on improvisation, live interaction among like-minded musicians from different countries, and a free approach to material ranging from Baroque to jazz-rock.

The program features original interpretations of classical works (Bach, Purcell, Puccini, Debussy, Paganini, Rachmaninoff), 20th-century jazz, and original compositions. Six musicians create a unified space where classical themes gain new life, and jazz and improvisation become a natural continuation of the tradition.

The concert promises to be a vibrant musical event in which different eras, styles, and personalities come together.
