Нани Вазана: первая в мире автор песен на ладино из поколения миллениалов
Возрождая древний испано-еврейский язык, Нани создаёт мост между прошлым и будущим с помощью современных, социально значимых текстов, посвящённых миграции, гендеру и женскому самовыражению.
Певица, композитор, тромбонистка и пианистка, Нани в своём сольном шоу приглашает слушателей в мир, где прошлое и настоящее переплетаются. В её песнях истории бабушки соединяются с современными сюжетами, в которых звуки и ароматы восточных базаров сочетаются с фламенко-вокалом, проникновенными тромбоновыми гармониями и душераздирающим фортепиано. Всё это дополняется электронными треками с её ноутбука, создающими атмосферное и мощное звучание. Это шоу успешно гастролирует на площадках вместимостью до 600 человек по всей Европе, США и Канаде.
В составе трио Нани добавляет в музыку огненные испанские гитарные рифы и выразительные арабские перкуссии, приправленные её заразительной харизмой и даже танцевальными элементами. Breathing new life into the ancient Spanish-Jewish language, Nani creates a bridge between the past and future with socially relevant lyrics celebrating migration, gender, and female empowerment.
As a singer, composer, trombonist and pianist, her solo show invites the listeners into a world that is both timeless and modern. Her songs intertwine stories of Nani’s grandmother with present-day narratives, blending the sounds and smells of the marketplaces with raw flamenco-inspired vocals, soulful trombone harmonies, and heart-breaking piano. All this is topped off with electronic tracks from her laptop, creating an immersive elemental soundscape. This show is being toured in venues up to 600 capacity in Europe, USA and Canada.
With her trio, the sound world of fiery Spanish guitar and sweeping Arabic percussion, topped with her infectious stage personality and even some dance moves, Nani brings the show to bigger stages, headlining folk and jazz festivals worldwide, with up to 10,000 capacity, such as the Jazz In The Park Festival Romania, Richmond Folk Festival, Montana Folk Festival, North Carolina Folk Festival, Lotus Festival USA and more.
