🎷 Alex Kholodovski Quartet - special guest Ed Kalman

September 18 at 8:30 PM at Gig House — an evening of true live jazz, where familiar melodies meet improvisation, drive, and unexpected musical twists.

On stage — the Alex Kholodovski Quartet:
Alexey Kholodovsky — saxophone
Valery Rovinsky — double bass
Sergey Nikityuk — piano
Oren Glasman — drums

The program includes favorite jazz standards, original music, and a few unexpected cover surprises. They will perform works by Duke Ellington, Horace Silver, Roy Hargrove, and other outstanding jazz musicians.

Special guest of the evening: the magnificent jazz trumpeter Ed Kalman, member of the Big Band Haifa. The musicians will present a special program where saxophone and trumpet will meet in a true jazz battle—with improvisation, interplay, and that same sparkling energy that makes us all love real live jazz!

Gig House has long been a familiar place for each participant in this project. And it is here that the quartet invites you to spend an evening in an atmosphere of rhythm, freedom, and good humor.
