Igor Sandrov, an alto jazz saxophonist and composer, was born in Irkutsk, Russia.

He studied in Rome, Italy, at the Saint Louis College of Music,
where he was a student of the famous Italian jazz saxophonist Rosario Giuliani.

He currently lives in Israel.

Igor is the winner of the prestigious European B-Jazz International Competition (Belgium).

Igor has participated in many international jazz festivals, including:

* Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy)

* Getxo Jazz Festival (Spain)

* Brasov Blues & Jazz Festival (Romania)
* Eddie Lang Jazz Festival (Italy)

In September 2026, his debut album, “Verso la luce,” was released on the prestigious Italian label Alfa Music, which includes original compositions by him.
